Polish Experience on Film

Polish Heritage Alliance – in cooperation with the Polish American Congress-Wisconsin Division
and the Polish Studies Committee of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee present the following 
documentary as a part of the three week series (check also October 11th and October 25th)
of films that document important aspects of the Polish experience:

"Lech Wałęsa: Leader of Solidarity
                          and President of Poland"

"Restoring Milwaukee's Kościuszko Monument"

The first movie is a 2010 documentary on Wałęsa's career. 

The second tells the story of the community-wide effort to preserve the 1905 monument for the benefit
of future generations of area residents (2014).
