A Concert by Trevor Stephenson
Sunday Afternoon Live at the Chazen

Another treat for lovers of Chopin's music from Trevor Stephenson, the artistic director of the Madison Bach Musicians (link to more biographical information).

Mr. Stephenson specializes in playing music in original arrangements and on historical instruments, many of which he helped to rebuild and customize.

Among his 15 recordings is
Music of Frédéric Chopin:

Performed on an Original English Piano of the 1840’s

Performed on the fortepiano made in 2003 by Norman Sheppard of Madison
(modeled on a late 18th-century instrument by J. A. Stein of Augsburg, Germany),
the concert on June 4 will include the following Chopin's compositions:

Nocturne in D-flat major, Op. 27 no. 2
Waltz in D-flat major, Op. 64 no. 1
