POLISH MOON RIDE

The fourth annual bike ride through the near south-side neighborhood of Milwaukee still remembered as a site of original Polish settlements (referred to as "Polonia" in the past) and now diversified into mostly Latino community with its vibrant Hispanic culture. 

TIMING OF EVENTS

• 5-7pm: The pre-ride party features the hot band MX Rugido Norteño and food including a rare combo of Polish soup called czarnina and Mexican tacos - as well as pierogi, grilled Polish sausage and ice cream from local creamery
• 7-9pm: The slow and easy, family-friendly, 8-mile ride begins with the national anthem and rolls to the tune of polkas performed by accordion players tagging along on cargo bikes
•  9-11pm: The after-ride party features the Polish Moon Polka Trio, more Polish & Mexican Food and Żywiec Beer, one of the best known beer brands produced in Poland
