June 16, 17 and 18 in Milwaukee, WI

OPENING CEREMONY on Friday, June 16th, 6pm
FIREWORKS on Friday and Saturday at 10:30pm

MUSIC and DANCE:
     ●
Polka and other music bands performing on three stages
  .... (
36th Polish Fest performance schedule);

     ●
Syrena Polish Folk Dance Ensemble
(WI), Mali Hyrni (Poland)
        and 
polka lesson at 4:30pm on the Folk Stage

COOKING AND CRAFT DEMONSTRATIONS:
     ●
Cooking Polish food: gołąbki (cabbage rolls) and pierogi (filled dumplings)
      ● 
Making Polish crafts: wycinanki (paper cuttings), pisanki (decorated eggs),
         wianki
(flower head wraths) and much more 
  

POLISH FORUM: Kosciuszko,1746-1817 Monuments and Remembrances (presenter: Anne Gurnack, Professor Emeritus, Parkside University) (2pm)  

CHILDREN ACTIVITIES: science and wildlife presentations, magician and
escape artist shows, games and Polish Tatra sheepdogs from Tatra Mountains
(the lakefront side of the Cultural Village)

SUKIENNICE MARKETPLACE: Baltic amber jewelry, Boleslawiec pottery,
hand blown Christmas ornaments, hand-carved wooden boxes, Polish books,
CD's, Polish Fest souvenirs and more

FOOD and DRINK: all the Polish food favorites from pierogi to Polish sausage
as well as beer gardens and Polish vodka tastings

                                              of three (3) or more food items to the Hunger Task Force

                                              Free Admission also on Sunday (Father's Day) between 3 and 6pm 
                                              for fathers accompanied by their children (of any age)
