Rare opportunity to experience
Poland's musical heritage and diversity.

Igor Lipinski performs music by some of the greatest Polish composers of the 19th - 21th century: Fryderyk (Frédéric) Chopin, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Karol Szymanowski, Grażyna Bacewicz,
and Paweł Mykietyn.  

This concert commemorates the 100th anniversary of Poland's Independence regained in 1918, after 123 years of partitions and its disappearance from the map of Europe.

Dr. Igor Lipinski is currently an assistant professor
of piano at the University of Oklahoma.

The concert is open and free to the public.

This event is organized by the Polish Student Association of UW-Madison (PSA) and Mad-PolKA Productions in cooperation and with financial support from Lipinski Fund, Polish Heritage Club - Madison, WI (PHC) and Sounds and Notes Foundation from Chicago.
