Harvest Folk Festival

This year without Polish accents, but still a great event to attend.

From the Isthmus Calendar: Join us on September 28 between 12 and 7 pm to celebrate the African, Indigenous, and Latine wedges of the Wyman Kitchen Garden. This year’s fest will feature song and dance, storytelling, a seed swap, student exhibits, and more hands-on activities! Mark your calendar. Hope to see you at this free event open to the public! Bring your dancing shoes, because we’ll be welcoming the Beth Hoven Rotto and the Scandinavian-American Old-time Dance Music Ensemble to close out the evening:

From the event's website: This year, our Harvest Festival will focus on making emotional connections to plants as part of the Garden’s annual theme, Enchanted Ground. There will be opportunities for creating with plants, a seed swap, and more hands-on activities. ... The harvest festival’s song, dance, and food celebrates the ongoing Kitchen Garden project which has been highlighting the crops, cuisines, and cultures of our African American, Indigenous, and Latine partners. This year we’re also emphasizing the Mid-Autum Festival from East Asia.
